Stephen
Ludbrook - Bowen Therapist
Stephen's interest in Bowen Therapy started
through a chance meeting with a Bowen Therapist whilst on holiday in the Lake
District.
'The therapist's wife ran a bed and breakfast establishment from which
he ran a Bowen Clinic,' Stephen says. 'Over breakfast I asked him why he had
become such a therapist. He told me of his experience of being head teacher of
a school for handicapped children and how he witnessed an array of different
therapies. He was so impressed with what Bowen achieved, however, that on
retiring from the school he embarked on training to become a Bowen Therapist.
This inspired me to find out more about this remarkable technique, and three
years later I too was a qualified Bowen Therapist.'
Stephen is a member of The Bowen
Association UK [http://www.bowen-technique.co.uk] and is also
registered with the Complimentary
& National Health Care Council (CNHC) [http://www.cnhc.org.uk], a Government
recognised voluntary registration body for specific Complimentary and
Alternative Therapies.

Beverley
Greenway - Reiki Master Practitioner
Beverley’s
interest in Reiki began in 1997, when her reflexologist gave her a ‘taster’ of
Reiki at the beginning of a Reflexology treatment.
She soon realised how powerful the effect of the Reiki energy could be,
even though it seemed so subtle given the technique used.
This experience inspired Beverley to train as a Reiki therapist and
through the training and regular treatments she experienced an increased need
to ‘be true to herself’, and developed an understanding that Reiki could lead
to a better understanding of oneself on physical, emotional and spiritual
levels
It also became obvious that the simple ideals associated with the
hands-on technique, known as the Reiki Principles, promote universal peace and
harmony.
Beverley became a Reiki Master Practitioner in May 2002 and is a member
of the Reiki Association [hyperlink to

Joanna
Hutt - Hypnotherapy and Counselling Therapist
Joanna is a multi-model psychotherapeutic counsellor. Using a multi–model approach means that
Joanna can draw on many different models of therapy depending on what is
suitable for her clients. The
models of therapy include Gestalt, CBT, REBT, Transactional Analysis, Person
Centred and Hypnotherapy.
The first time that Joanna was hypnotised
herself, she was amazed at how relaxed yet in control she felt and the effects
of the hypnotherapy session have stayed with her, it was from this experience
that Joanna decided to work as a Hypnotherapist whilst using mainly a Person Centred
approach with her clients to really give them the opportunity to explore the
issues that are relevant for them.
The profound relaxation that is induced during
hypnosis is unique and it can be used to treat many clinical conditions alongside
traditional medicine, as well as neurotic symptoms of stress, anxiety, phobia,
confidence, weight loss, smoking, enuresis (bed wetting), motivation,
performance enhancement, sexual dysfunction or general well-being etc.
Joanna has a Hypnotherapy Practice in Carterton
on a Thursday, works from Woodstock Chiropractic Clinic on a Friday and does
home visits with her relaxation and stress relief treatments.
